Malaya Embellished Bracelet PATTERN - Odd Count Peyote Stitch Chart - Using Miyuki Delica beads!
£2.75
Welcome to Melicraft Peyote Beading patterns! I hope you enjoy working these up as much as I do. Please note that you have to have an existing knowledge of Peyote stitch, both odd and even counts. This listing is not for a tutorial, just the pattern. After beading, just choose your own favourite clasp or beaded fastening. You are free to add or subtract rows so you can make this to fit.
To compete this cuff like I have, you will need 3 x 3.5cm filgree circles/octogons to place over the blank circles. You can use any similar sizes pieces After attaching the filigree circles, I found I needed to curve them slightly to give a better fit while the bracelet is being worn. They are meant to bend, so don't worry about them breaking! I picoted the edges in the photographed piece. I used Toho 15/0's in Gal Yellow Gold and weaved three beads beween pairs of delicas all the way down each long edge for a lovely finish.
When you are finished - all you have to do is add your preferred clasp or loop and toggle. If you need the cuff smaller, just ignore rows at the start and finish. If you need it longer, either extend the pattern by repeating a pattern sequence, or just add plain rows to the start and finish. I prefer to use clasps with extender chains myself.
I have designed this pattern with Miyuki Delica beads, in size 11/0. The colours I designed with are detailed in the included legend. The legend also includes bead counts. You can of course substitute your own colour choices if you like! You can also substitute the seed beads, but note that the stated sizes of the finished bracelet will be different.
The downloadable PDF file you will receive includes:
