Beaded Lighter Cover - Odd Count Peyote Pattern - Jubilee 1
£2.25
Welcome to Melicraft Peyote Beading patterns! I hope you enjoy working these up as much as I do. Please note that you have to have an existing knowledge of Peyote stitch, both odd and even counts. This listing is not for a tutorial, just the pattern.
This is pattern for you to create a snug fitting cover for a Bic Mini Lighter. It is assumed you have a pre-existing knowledge of this method of beading as this is a pattern, not a tutorial. This pattern includes clear images and lettered charts to help you create a pretty cover to bling up your lighter. Also - if you prefer - there is a row by row word chart.
These make ideal gifts!
I have designed this pattern with Miyuki Delica beads, in size 11/0. The colours I designed with are detailed in the included legend. The legend also includes bead counts. You can of course substitute your own colour choices if you like!
When you have finished beading the peyote strip, you need to zip it shut along the long edges. This sleeve will fit snugly around your mini lighter.
If you want to make it permanently attached, you will need to use your preferred adhesive. If you don’t glue it on, you can remove the cover and use it
on your next lighter!
The downloadable PDF file you will receive includes:
An image for reference
A legend with colour suggestions and bead counts
A row by row written instruction word chart
A large bead graph
You will need:
Delica beads,
1 mini Bic lighter
Thread/needle/scissors
